Study that shapes - voices from the Biberach model
How does the Biberach model feel in practice? Students report on what the trial study programme means to them - between workbench, lecture and real projects.
How has my life changed?
Pictures often say more than words, but we also think it is important that you hear directly from trainees and students from Biberach how they see things. We regularly conduct short surveys and present some of their statements here.
I would do the Biberach model again in a heartbeat and recommend it to everyone. In addition to the good training, I benefit greatly from the network of other young timber construction companies and innovative colleagues.
Jonas Mendl
Stopper carpentry, Rottenburg
For me, the choice to attend the Biberach Model was an enrichment both professionally and personally.
Franziska Gumpp
Gumpp & Maier, Binswangen
As a participant in the "Biberach Model", the carpentry trade combines the values and traditions of the past with the innovations of the present. The Project Management degree programme is the perfect complement to the practical training and, as a qualified "generalist in construction", offers me a solid and broad foundation for the management tasks ahead.
Maximilian Merk
Merk Holzbau, Bad Wurzach
You can combine practical experience in training with the overarching theory in the degree programme and get the opinions of many different experts
Tim Drechsler
Dambacher & Gentner Zimmermeister GmbH, Ellenberg
The mixture of theory and practice makes it easier to enter the profession on the one hand and, on the other, refreshes your theoretical knowledge, which is often lost in vocational school lessons. For the most part, you get to know the two sides of the profession and thus gain more insight into the industry.
Raffael Goetz
Timber construction Kapfenstein, Ludwigsburg
The Biberach model is recommended to anyone who wants to start a degree programme in a very practical way. The mixture of vocational school/studies and hands-on work in the company makes starting a degree programme easier and offers a lot of variety
