The Digitalisation Centre Ulm | Alb-Donau | Biberach | Neu-Ulm is the point of contact for digitalisation issues for 500,000 residents and 53,000 companies in the region. As an independent and neutral point of contact, the digitisation centre supports SMEs from all sectors on their path to digitisation.
Advisory board made up of master carpenters
The digitisation centre is supported by an honorary advisory board made up of people from business, education and local authorities.
Our employee Jonas Rosenow, from the project team around Jochen Ströhle and the Networking department, has been able to provide advice as an advisory board member since May and contribute his view through the digital craftsman's glasses.
Seminar "Social media in timber construction (Instagram)"
Supported by the state of Baden-Württemberg and the members of the Digitalisation Region association, the DZ offers free advice, tailored services and a wide range of events in the areas of online marketing, 3D printing, artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (XR), IoT, LoRa, BIM and drone technology.
The first successful collaboration was the recent seminar "Social media in timber construction (Instagram)", which was held together with Vanessa Scalfani as a speaker from the digitalisation centre. Here, the Bildungszentrum Holzbau supported 13 companies over a period of six months with the introduction and continuation of their social media presence on Instagram.
