Successful 15th timber construction get-together

26. May 2025

On Wednesday, 21 May 2025, the 15th Timber Construction Round Table took place at our Timber Construction Training Centre.

More than 100 participants - including graduates and students of the Biberach Model, master trainers, trainees, entrepreneurs, professors, lecturers and other interested parties - took the opportunity to exchange expertise and network.

Guests began arriving in the restaurant area as early as 5.30 pm for an initial get-together. The official programme started punctually at 6 p.m. with an informative presentation by Jonathan Schweizer(BW Chamber of Engineers), who spoke about the specialist list entry with the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Engineers and registration as a design author.

Manuel Häusler(HBPM - Häusler Bauprojektmanagement) then gave a vivid account of his professional career - from graduate of the Biberach Model to registered structural engineer and design author.

The evening was rounded off with open networking over drinks at "student prices" and light snacks - a good opportunity to make new contacts and strengthen existing ones.

The 15th Timber Construction Round Table showed once again how valuable regular dialogue within the timber construction industry is. We would like to thank everyone involved and are already looking forward to the next regulars' table on 26 November 2025!

Trial study programme - Biberach Model Timber Construction Project Management / Civil Engineering

In cooperation with Biberach University of Applied Sciences, the "Timber Construction/Project Management - Civil Engineering" trial degree programme is offered, which participants complete after dual carpentry training with the title of master carpenter and a Bachelor of Engineering.

The participants in the Biberach Model are thus academically and technically trained to take on the social challenges of housing construction and climate protection through renovation and building with the sustainable building material wood.
